Wikipedia (2001)

Crowdsourced, multilingual, open-content encyclopedia launched 2001-01-15 by Jimmy Wales and Larry Sanger under Bomis Inc., transferred to the Wikimedia Foundation (501(c)(3)) in 2003. Cross-era sublimation: renders Encyclopaedia Britannica's OPP for general-reference queries irrelevant without formal succession (P29-critical: sublimation_coupling, not substitution). Inherits verifiability substrate from MM print culture and reterritorializes the Humboldtian university's research-via-teaching model as articles-via-verifiability.
